Sr. Contract Management Lead
Our client is looking for a highly motivated, proactive and results oriented self starter to join the Business Technology Services (BTS) Supplier and Contract Management team. The Sr. Contract Management Lead will report to the Manager, IT Supplier Management and will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective communication linkages and relationships with internal clients and suppliers to identify and keep abreast of emerging technology trends, as well as to foster and reinforce the need for continued collaboration on innovative technology and business solutions to meet organizational objectives. You will be responsible for the contract and supplier management of a prescribed portfolio of technology products and services.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Post-secondary education in a business or technology-related field and 7 years business management/ supplier management experience, including 3 years in a leadership role.
Leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills to appropriately recommend options to WSIB management and next steps in the administration of the assigned contract portfolio.
Performance management concepts to effectively interpret findings in order to recommend solutions to multiple-supplier performance issues.
Knowledge of supplier core business, agreements and contracts to facilitate and manage supplier relationships and understand contractual or business implications.
Knowledge of the business cycle and budgeting to plan, predict and develop an account of all costs at all states of the value chain introduction, growth, maturity and decline.
Knowledge of procurement process and industry best practice for the support and delivery of IT products and services.
High-level knowledge of methodologies including Project Management and Software Development Lifecycle to ensure deadlines and dates are met in order to maintain services and minimize financial obligations.
Knowledge of MS Office Suite, Lotus Notes, SharePoint, Visio in order to perform tasks.
Understanding of contractual implications due to changes to suppliers/services and mitigation of risks to organization.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and manage supplier relationships for technology products, leases, licenses and/or services to ensure positive working relationships and effective delivery of contracted products and services
Advocate business/technology process improvements and innovation for increased use of available technology to improve current working practices
Manage the delivery of performance metrics with recommendations to improve services associated with the assigned portfolio of contracts to support quantitative and qualitative analysis of value provided by suppliers
Evaluate supplier performance, including quality, cost, flow, capacities, systems and responsiveness, as per ongoing business management of the products, leases, licenses and services contracted by the suppliers
Perform regular analysis of supplier contracts and addenda to provide financial information for negotiation and budget management
Perform other duties as assigned or required
