Solar Specialist - Sales

Pure Energies Inc. specialized in the renewable energy industry and based in the downtown Toronto core is looking for a Solar Specialist. We recently acquired two additional US companies and taking solar to the next level across the US and a leader in the Ontario solar market. We are growing and offer a fun work environment. 

You will work in a fast-paced, friendly open-concept work environment located downtown Toronto, overlooking the CN Tower. We are TTC accessible just steps away from Osgoode subway station.

• Contacting consumers interested in solar and educating them on the solar program. 

• Providing excellent customer service, explaining the benefits of working with One Block off the Grid versus any other company. 

• Solution selling, consulting, outbound calling, account management. 

• Expected to contact 40-50 customers per day. 

• Arrange follow up calls, educate consumers on the solar program and explain the benefits of installing solar PV Systems on their roof. 

• Track all information on clients in Salesforce. 

• Work on a team 

• Look to continuously improve and contribute every day 

• Updating customer information into our database 

• Achieving set targets, quotas and company milestones 

• Working a rotating Saturday shift is required. 


• 2-3 years’ experience in outbound calling in a sales position 

• Ability to develop instant rapport with new customers 

• Ability to develop long term lasting relationships 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Experience selling to homeowners is a great asset 

• Self-motivated and driven, excellent networking skills 

• Computer savvy. Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Email) 

• Strong organizational skills and follow up skills. 

• Strong mathematical ability, numeracy for quote calculations.
