Position Overview:

In this position, duties would include, but are not limited to the following:

.Maintaining a positive attitude and providing exceptional Customer service at all times.

.Full knowledge of food, beverage and services offered at Woodbine.

.Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating or arriving in section and constantly observes guests to fulfill any additional requests.

.Takes and serves all cocktail / food orders in a pleasant and courteous manner.

.Performs all opening / closing procedures for the assigned work station and specified side duties (i.e. setting of tables, polishing cutlery / glassware, stocking side stands, etc

.Garnish food / beverage items for general and specific requests.

.Transporting of food / bar service trays and soiled dish trays to the appropriate areas.

.Maintaining cleanliness of assigned areas, utensils, equipment and glassware.

.Responsible to record all sales, present guest check, collect payment and remit deposits. Verifies accuracy of prices, taxes, gratuities (if charged) on all checks.

.Assists with inventory and any other checklists as assigned.


.One year related work experience.

.Proven customer service.

.Experience handling cash.

.The ability to stand for lengthy periods of time.

.Proven verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

.Basic mathematical skills.

.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

.Basic knowledge of LCBO rules and regulations.

.Positive and energetic character.

.Working knowledge of restaurant point of sale computer system.

.Awareness of health and safety issues.

.Ability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

.Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
