Senior Executive Assistant with Shorthand/Speedwriting

Salary:  to $80K D.O.E.

Location:  Toronto, ON

Our client, a prominent private equity corporation, is currently seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to assist the President and Executive Vice President In this role, you will provide top-notch administrative support to assist them with their business activities and extensive community, arts and charitable involvement, all of which are of a highly sensitive and confidential nature.

Responsibilities will include:

Coordinate daily appointments and extensive business and personal, worldwide travel arrangements, preparing detailed itineraries

Create, edit and produce final correspondence utilizing  Shorthand, Dictaphone and excellent writing skills

Maintain accurate and up to date filing and database systems

Assume responsibility for additional projects, including social and fundraising functions and Personal errands as required.

Liaise with outside consultants and staff members using diplomacy and discretion.


15 + years of current administrative experience supporting  busy, high level executives

MUST HAVE a keyboarding speed of 90+wpm

MUST HAVE excellent Speedwriting/Shorthand writing skills for dictation on a daily basis.

Superior written and verbal communication skills

Self-confidence,  and the ability to handle peak workloads  & pressure, calmly, efficiently and unemotionally, thereby presenting  the calm demeanor of a  poised, professional,

Exceptional technical skills, with strong proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and conducting internet searches.
