eHealth Ontario is the organization enabling physicians and health care providers establish and maintain electronic health records (EHRs) for all of Ontario's 13 million residents.
The Senior Business Analyst will support our Human Resources department to develop and/or improve upon existing departmental processes. This role will report into the People Strategy and Management, Human Resources team who are responsible for Project Management standards and practices within eHealth Ontario. This role will support continuous improvement and rollout of modifications to Project Management related methodologies such as Project Life Cycle, Software Development Life cycle and the Requirements framework.

Develop, improve, implement processes and tools to support Human Resources People Strategy and Management (HR/PSM) and Human Resources Operations (HR/Ops)
Solve operational problems and identify improvements by leveraging and simplifying processes and agency methodologies and frameworks
Champion the Agency's existing methodologies, framework and tools
Participate and/or lead Project Forums intended to garner feedback from the project management community with eHealth Ontario
Working with practitioners and partners across the agency, define and implement improvements to methodologies and related tools

Business Analysis Certification or work experience equivalentExperience:
Expertise in process development, re-engineering and implementation
Excellent analytical, attention to detail, problem solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills
5-7 years' experience in Information Technology Business Analysis
Experience and expert knowledge of IT methodologies, i.e. Solution Development LifecycleTechnical Knowledge and skills:
Develop process and tools to support HR/PSM and HR/Ops
Solve operational problems and identify improvements by leveraging and simplifying processes
Work with resources during investigation and resolution of operational issues
Provide client support for interpretation of policy, training material development, training, problem resolution, operational input to development of processes and policy
A team player, willing and able to work under pressure and to tight timelines to ensure deliverables are produced according to the requirements, project plan and to the quality and usability standards of the client
Able to make decisions within predetermined guidelines requiring some understanding and/or interpretation in order to complete job tasks
Strong organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written abilities
Strong presentation skills complimented by a successful track record in building credibility and consensus
Ability to absorb program and/or project related information in order to communicate effectively with colleagues and other departments
Experience conducting requirements gathering/identification, current-future state assessments, capture and understand business work flows and gap analysis with an aim to drive out solutions
Ability to facilitate working sessions
Provide leadership, guidance and mentoring to other team members
