Senior Analyst - Trade Support Primary Location: ON-Central GTA-TorontoEmployee Status: Regular Schedule: Full-time Description Ensure exceptional customer service, quick and accurate coaching to clients, book FX, work with settlements to resolve issues, act as a resource for the National Bank Correspondent Network on the Trade Advice process and spreadsheets and educate other groups within National Bank Correspondent Network on what the Trade Support group does.
Specifically, you will :
Coordinating loading of files and adjustments of entries for settlements
Booking residual foreign exchange exposures
Escalating client issues to IT for immediate action
Loading client files and educating clients on automated processes and formatting
Coordinating settlement instructions with clients
Escalating and resolving issues with external vendors' data files and feeds for settlements QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Business completed
A minimum of three years of relevant experience
Experience balancing large trades and trade discrepancies; and working with high dollar values
Ability to prioritize requests in order to mitigate financial risk as well as maintain a high level of client service
Ability to perform in depth analyses of files to identify rejects and communicate the results to clients
Ability to work well under pressure and a strong understanding of settlements, dividends and interest protocols
Strong working knowledge of Excel, Access, and macros
