TV Finance Department
Corus Entertainment – Television has an exciting opportunity for a Planning Analyst at our Toronto location. Reporting to the Sr. Financial Analyst, TV Division, the successful candidate will provide forecasting, budgeting, and analytical support to the Television Planning group.
Support monthly forecasting and budgeting processes
Support of program rights forecasting and monthly duties for amortization and payments
Assist with preparation of quarterly management reporting packages
Assist with preparation of financial statements and flash reports for quarterly (Networks) Board meetings
Participate in the implementation of budgeting/forecast/reporting system
Assist with quarter-end tasks
Ad-hoc analysis and special projects as required.
College or Bachelor degree; Major in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration is an asset
Well developed communication/presentation, interpersonal and problem solving skills
Analytical and financial modeling skills required
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Deadline oriented, attention to details, multi-tasking and organization skills, with ability to work under pressure
