Anna’s Bio:

Anna Maksyutynska is currently completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto. She started playing piano at the age of five. At the age of twelve, she performed a solo part of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in F Major K 37, part I, with a Symphony Orchestra.

At sixteen, Anna began teaching piano, while completing RCM practical exams, as well as theory and harmony. Prior to that, she volunteered at the Renaissance Academy of Arts and Sciences. Anna was also a member of a jazz band in high school.

At the age of fourteen, Anna received a first place award at the Kiwanis Music Festival, Markham Music Festival and Ukrainian Music Festival. She continued competing at the Ukrainian Music Festival until she was seventeen, receiving first place and scholarship awards. Apart from her performance experience, Anna has worked at several piano schools over the years and right now she is working towards her ARCT Diploma in Piano Pedagogy.
