Randstad is currently recruiting for a Part-Time Senior Operations Officer for a 12 month assignment with one of Canada's Top 5 banks, starting November 2014. This position is located in Toronto, Ontario. The main function of the Operations Officer is confirming transaction details using various methods of confirmation including phone, fax, swift and email. The ideal candidate must be advance in Microsoft Excel - have the ability to write MACROS.
Shifts: Mon to Fri 8:00am to Noon - Flexibility required for training and must be able to work on some Statutory Holidays
Some Job Responsibilities will be:
.Complete transaction processing or other processing activities.
Follow firm and industry regulations and operating practices in completing and recording transactions for either the firm, or clients.
.Escalate non-standard or high risk transactions or other activities as appropriate.
.Ensure documentation prepared / completed is accurate and properly reflects client / business intentions and is consistent with relevant rules / regulations.
.Complete investigations - report / escalate risk issues identified or process gaps.

. Attention to detail is crucial.
. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel advance with the ability to write macros is preferred .
