Job Title: Manager, Business Development

 Job Description: The Manager of Business Development at Paladin Security Group Ltd. will be responsible to build market position by sourcing, developing and negotiating new business. The Manager will devote a significant portion of their time generating new relationships and opportunities through cold calling on potential clients. This position will report to the Vice President, Eastern Canada Operations.


Job Duties:

Generate new business by leveraging existing customers and      exploring new opportunities

Establish relationships with      potential clients and conduct an analysis of requirements, prepare      proposal based on requirements and cost benefits associated with proposed      program.

secure contracts that achieve assigned sales quotas and targets

Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such      as calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as      networking

Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and      sales

Maintain a high level of industry knowledge in order to have educated      conversations with prospects.

Locates and responds to RFPs, pre-qualifications for      proposals in print and online

Draft and ensure delivery of      proposals in a timely manner

Prepare and present presentations to senior managers and decision      makers

Work with operational staff and subject matter experts where required      to address customer requirements

Report on sales activity through CRM

Keep detailed customer relationship notes on prospects, leads,      opportunities and customer interactions in Saleforce CRM.

Provide forecasts on best case and most likely sales volumes over      relevant time periods on CRM

Work with marketing and branch management to plan and execute lead      generation campaigns

Provide feedback to sales management on ways to decrease the sales      cycle, enhance sales, and improve company brand and reputation

Provide feedback to company management on market trends,      competitive threats, unmet needs and opportunities to deliver greater      value to customers by extending company offerings

Identify sales support requirements and work with marketing to      develop improve sales tools

Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the      marketplace

Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of      professionalism and integrity

Protects organization's value by keeping information      confidential



A proven record in business development and relationship building

Proven ability to increase revenue through self-generated leads and converting      opportunities into new business.

High work output and strong work ethic

Strong writing and communication skills

The successful candidate will possess the following skills; solid writing,communication & presentation abilities, will demonstrate effective client prospecting initiative and relationship building qualities with a view to achieve established quotas as identified by VP Eastern Canada.

The candidate must be highly organized and demonstrate professionalism at all times      when representing Paladin Security.


Bachelor's degree

2-3 years of sales or marketing experience preferred.

Must have Security experience.
