The Product Support Sales Manager is responsible for building and managing all activities directly related to the growing revenue for a large geographical region. The incumbent is also responsible for building and maintaining relationships with national customers. The incumbent mentors and completes analyses to determine the strengths and weaknesses of employees. The incumbent received requests for services and ensures that customers are satisfied with the service received.

Key responsibilities:

Sales Management :

Negotiate terms and purchase assistance from manufacturers as required.

Review sales quotes and deals, assisting the Sales team with pending sales.

Respond to sales inquiries and assist the Sales team and Branches

Manage daily employee sales activities. Supervise and develop a Sales team through effective ongoing coaching, and employee mentoring.

Manage employee training and development.

Market Analysis and Development

Analyze market conditions to effectively target major customers.

Continually solicit and develop customer base.

Analyze various market segments to establish proper targets.

Work with Sales team to develop and review their customer sales forecasting is meeting expectation.

Ensure regular and consistent reporting Manager and Sales Team

Desired Exp:

University Degree or diploma in Commerce, general business or other related discipline.

3-5 years of progressive experience in sales and sales team management and leadership.

Skills and Knowledge:

Proven ability to develop key markets and build sales volume.

Maintain high level decision making responsibilities with financial and legal impacts.

Advanced written and verbal communication skills required for internal and external communication (e.g. presentations, negotiations, selling

Proficient with computers including Microsoft Office.

Proven ability to work effectively with customers and peers having the ability to develop effective and collaborative relationships.

Demonstrate ability to influence outcomes to achieve results.

Previous sales experience preferably within the heavy equipment industry.

Proven sales, customer service and marketing skills to interact effectively with clients and achieve customer satisfaction.

Mechanical/technical aptitude an asset.

Highly motivated, fast paced, self-starter.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
