Job Description

TITLE: EXECUTIVE SOUS CHEF

REPORTING TO: EXECUTIVE CHEF / OWNER

Staff Accomodations available

Salary: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00

Skill Requirement:

Cook Red Seal certification

Safe Food handling certification

3 - 5 years related experience

Proven leadership / managerial experience

Must be available to work flexible hours and days

Standing for long period of times

Able to work under pressure within tight deadlines

Attention to detail

Specific Skill:

Plan and direct preparation and cooking activites of the kitchen.

Oversee and manager the kitchens operation in the abscence of the Executive Chef.

Labour control

Monthly inventory

Assist the Executive Chef in annual budget preperation / planning.

Assist in employee appraisals, training, mentoring, hiring & progressive discpline / coaching process.
