Do you suffer from digestive concerns involving constipation, diarrhea, bloating or abdominal pain?   The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) is conducting a clinical trial on the effectiveness of a probiotic supplement on the reduction of symptoms associated with moderate-to-severe Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS Participants will visit the clinic on four different dates (approx 30 minutes each visit) over a 3 month period, where they will follow up with a Naturopathic Doctor and complete questionnaires about their IBS symptoms.                          Compensation upon completion of the study = $200 + $200 in follow up appointments with a Naturopathic Doctor.   Criteria for participation: - Male and female patients between 18 and 64 years of age - Who have been diagnosed with moderate-to-severe Irritable Bowel Syndrome or have symptoms suggesting moderate-to-severe IBS - Are not already taking prescription medication for their IBS symptoms - Do not have Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn’s, or Celiac’s Disease - Are not planning on becoming pregnant in the next 3 months   This study will take place from January 2014 to April 2014.
