Kop Flex Canada Limited, a division of Emerson Industrial Automation - Power Transmission Solutions, requires an experienced and customer focused professional to coordinate its Customer Service, Quality and Health & Safety functions. This multi-faceted and integral role liaises with customers, sales, manufacturing, purchasing and engineering personnel and also administers key health and safety responsibilities for the facility.
This role has functional responsibilities in 3 major areas.
1) Customer Service:
Liaise with customers, sales offices, Emerson Customer Service, Manufacturing and Engineering personnel to satisfy customer needs
Resolve credit, collection and payment matters
Order process management
Account and records maintenance
Coordinate staff and visitor orientation
2) Quality Assurance:
Coordinate audits of ISO 9001 quality management system
Evaluate and monitor control systems
Maintain records and provide reports relating to conformance
3) Health and Safety:
Monitor and advise on compliance to all relevant Health and Safety regulations
Coordinate training, PPEs and maintain H/S records
Conduct/coordinate on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices, hazard identification/elimination
Compile, analyze and report safety data
Maintain, revise and implement workplace policies and procedures
College diploma and at least 5 years’ experience in Customer Service for manufacturing/industrial products
Health and Safety certification
Ability to read technical documents (specifications drawings/blue-prints
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products/Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Email)
Experience in Oracle and AS400 is an asset
Prior experience with ISO 9001 quality management system requirements and internal auditing is preferred
